An unfiltered, dry-hopped Belgian saison, our Los Padres Saison is a beer we're sure our fathers would be proud of. Redolent with grassy and fresh-grapefruit hop aromas, a pilsner malt bill balances the beer perfectly. A hint of clove and a peppery, spicy, dry finish make this a very satisfying confluence of old and new world flavors.

Draft at Milk and Hops, Chelsea. Darker orange color. Yeast, grass, and some earth. Mid-dry. Fizzy mouthfeel. Plenty of spice. Decent.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours med amber with a white head. Fruity aroma. Med body. Flavor is somewhat tropical fruit. Reminds of a tripel - fruit esters/spice. Gets a bit earthy with time. Quite nice.

On tap. Pours with a large white head with good lace left over a hazy golden body. Ring per sip type of lace. Aromas are grainy, tea like, low phenol, mild esters, light citrus, peppery, 4vg. On the bland/muted side. Flavors are of tea, apricot like esters, malty, sweet for a saison, very fruit forward. Pluots. Light herbal hop character. Low carbonation for the style with a fuller body. Could use some work.
