One of those times that the beer is just right for the moment, tons of cucumber, but in this heat, damn, just what's needed

On tap at Rattle n Hum - East, pours S clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out tons of cucumber skins, not much else to speak of. Aroma is along the same lines, with lots of cucumber skins, some bitterness and saison yeast. Nicely balanced, as well as being expressive on the cucumber. Very nice.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is cucumbers, lime, and saison yeast. Taste is a lot of cucumber, lime, but I am not getting so much ginger. More palatable than other cucumber saisons, but still quite a lot.

Draft at Ginger Man. My first beer from ICONYC. Strong cucumber aroma. Some dill and spices. Pours clear gold with streaky lacing. Taste is more balanced, with cucumber and spice joined by some yeast and earth. Lime notes appear in the close, but are pretty muted. Really interesting beer. Can't say is want to drink it all the time but I applaud how much it tastes like what they were aiming for.
