Our summer session Porter, Little Lava Cake, 4.1% ABV. This dark, creamy light bodied Porter will give you every excuse to indulge in a chocolate dream without worrying about the heat! Modeled after one of our Brewer's favorite dessert, the Lava Cake, this beer displays notes of cappuccino, dark chocolate, hazelnut, Irish coffee, and caramel. It's hard to have just one, but try not to eat the glass!

Draft at the brewery, 8/6/16. Brown with an orange hue. Frothy head and heavy lace. Nose is as described, fill of sweet chocolate, hazelnut, caramel, etc. Sweet flavor too, but it doesn't get cloying. Very clean and drinkable dessert beer. I like it, but wouldn't want more than a half pour.
