Our All Hallows’ Galaxy and Nelson IPA softened up with some grapefruit purée. Something juicy to sink your teeth into while you’re out causing mischief this Halloween. This beer is near and dear to us because it was included in our grand opening mixed 4-pack back in 2016.

200ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Kindly shared by Finn. Hazy golden body, clingy lacing from a slowly declining white head. Promising citrus nose, lemony hops to the fore. Mixed citrus flavour, lemon and grapefruits, soft malts to it. Rounded, mid-dry fruity bitter ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing. (Tromsø, 10.01.2024).

On tap at Mekong. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head. The aroma is tropical fruit and floral. Slick body, melon, grapefruit, pine, lingering bitterness, very good.

Can from the brewery. Pours a murky orange color with a wispy head and some streaky lacing. Looks like a NE IPA. Well hopped aroma of grapefruit and rind. Not particularly bitter. Nicely balanced between tart, bitter, and a mild sweetness. Rind comes through on the close. Fairly juicy. Very solid, well made Grapefruit IPA. Very drinkable and clean. Pretty excited by the 4 beers they had at the release, I think good things are going to come out of this place. Another good new one on the Richmond scene.
