January 2016 Release - White Cap
Same big juicy IPA each time with a different whirlwind of hops! This one is bittered with Simcoe and then uses Ahtanum and Palisade for a very floral and smooth finishing beer.

Location: 22 oz bottle from the Thirsty Quaker, 2/8/16, Batch 002 (Jan 2016): White Cap
Aroma: Perfume, floral aroma with some pine, spice, and a touch of fruit as well
Appearance: Hazy orange-gold color with a thin off-white head and fairly light lacing
Flavor: The tastes comes through a bit sweet and fairly bitter, clean hop flavor throughout
Palate: Drinks fairly cleanly, average carbonation, and a pretty nice, dry close
Overall Impression: I didn't get a chance to try to first release, but I like how the second one came out. The perfume and floral hop come out more for me in the aroma, where as the bittering in the flavor is more of the spice and pine style. All meld together nicely with a light malt component to make for a clean, drinkable IPA. Looking forward to trying more of these.
