Named after the coolest backcountry run in North America, this American style IPA is bold yet balanced. Like the run, you will be “tempted” to explore the deep flavors created by using a copious amount of bold hops…its so good it should be illegal!

Sample at Hoof Hearted during the "Tickling South - Dual Can Release" on 04/09/2017. Clear copper color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Fruit, hops and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, fruit and roast malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can thanks to Jan, thanks! Pours a clear deep orange with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy pine and grass with a strong sweet grain backbone. Flavor has more grass and earthy pine with a bit of sweet grains and bread.

Hazy light amber - low carbonation, but a moderate lace - aroma of orange oil, caramel, grapefruit - low carbonation, watery/thin body - besides that, the flavor is decent - moderate sweet citrus/orange flesh, earthy and peppery hops - moderately resinous - there is a heavy/clunky caramel sweetness which I tend not to like in my ipas anymore - finish is leafy and fairly bitter, bordering on astringent, but only mildly so - a mixed bag.
