Named after the coolest backcountry run in North America, this American style IPA is bold yet balanced. Like the run, you will be “tempted” to explore the deep flavors created by using a copious amount of bold hops…its so good it should be illegal!

From a 12 oz can in Breckenridge CO. Pours a clear dark copper with a thick off white head. Vegetal nose. Flavors of pine and grass. Medium body, high carbonation, bitter finish.

Hazy light amber - low carbonation, but a moderate lace - aroma of orange oil, caramel, grapefruit - low carbonation, watery/thin body - besides that, the flavor is decent - moderate sweet citrus/orange flesh, earthy and peppery hops - moderately resinous - there is a heavy/clunky caramel sweetness which I tend not to like in my ipas anymore - finish is leafy and fairly bitter, bordering on astringent, but only mildly so - a mixed bag.

Tap @ Tap and Handle Fort Collins. I was told this was called Tempest IPA but I can’t find any note of that on the interwebz besides Tempter. Pours a dark golden orange appearance with a cream colored head. Herbal/floral, somewhat spicy, lightly piney, light citrus hoppy aroma. Slightly chewy, a bit boozy, light solvent, piney, thick grapefruity/orange citrusy flavor. Blah.
