Dark brown, heavy lace.  Roasty and dry on aroma and flavor.  Smooth and clean, medium bodied.

Sample at the taproom. Pours brown-black with a medium thin creamy beige head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee in the nose. Light-bodied with a roasty malt and coffee character, with some chocolate and mild hops in the background. The finish is roasted malt and mild coffee. Decent overall.
