The appearance was a semi-ruddy burnt orange close to brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace.
The aroma had good roastiness about it. Some nuts, sturdy malt base of caramel and toffee. Some light milk chocolate. Ended with some earthy hops.
The flavor leaned slightly to the sweet side and then developed some earthy spice as it warmed. Light bitter. Nice aftertaste with the earthinesss, roast and spice. Finish was the same.
The feel was roughly medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. Good ABV.
Overall, nicely done brown ale that I’d have again and am glad these guys distro to me.

Chestnut brown color with a tan head and lace. Malty aroma. Some bread and toast. Light pale malts. Clean and easy drinking.
