Our India Pale Ale seeks to blend the best components of classic American IPAs with highlights from the new generation. Cascade, Northern Brewer and Falconer’s Flight hops provide a hint of citrus and are perfectly complimented by a strong malt profile. A 6.9% ABV adds a refreshing brightness to the beer while stopping just shy of the high alcohol levels of a double or imperial IPA. Crisp, refreshing and well balanced, we are proud to put fourth our IPA as part of the American craft beer revival.

12 oz bottle, pours a cloudy dark amber orange with a medium beige head. Nose is very dull, with earthy hops, bready malt and some toasted caramel. Flavour is very malty and earthy, with toasted bready malt, caramel and subdued earthy hops. Hops aren't dialed in properly and this is too sweet. Not good.

Pours golden, pine and hops aroma. Taste of hops and citrus. Palate includes pine, spice and an intense aftertaste. Long lasting spice taste. Soft mouthfeel.

Tap at the source. Dark golden color with a hint of orange and a small white head. Grassy astringent hint of aspirin against a bready caramel malt base. This one was rough.

Location: Draft at the brewery, 3/28/15
Aroma: Fruity and malty aroma.
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color, with a thick, frothy, off-white head.
Flavor: The flavor is balanced, with a good malt backbone.
Palate: Medium bodied, with a lightly dry finish, and a soft carbonation.
Overall Impression: Pretty solid IPA overall. Not a world beater, but you could do much worse.
