Location: Growler from Superstar Beer City, 10/27/14
Aroma: The nose is lightly funky, slightly vegetal, with some herbal notes as well.
Appearance: It pours a clear gold color , with a small head, and minimal lace.
Flavor: Somewhat funky, and a little vegetal on the flavor, with a light bitterness.
Palate: It has a clean, easy drinking fell, with a soft carbonation.
Overall Impression: I brought this down to DC for a quick pre-wedding bottle share with Pinsky. This one is definitely better as it warms. When we first took the growler out of the fridge, I wasn't too impressed, but closer to room temperature, the flavors come out better. Not sure if I got much rhubarb, or if I would know if I did.
