16oz can pours with a clear amber to copper body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up some malt earthiness, some roasted malts and a bit of malt roasted dustiness. Behind those notes is a faint sort of fruity hops. The taste is similar and unremarkable with some roasted malts, some mild nuttiness and then some slightly off putting spiced apples fruity notes. Meh.

Location: Pint Can from State Line, 5/31/13

Aroma: The nose is quite fruity (orange/tangerine), with some butter, caramel, and pale malts
Appearance: A murky reddish-orange color with a small off-white head and coating, spotty lace
Flavor: The taste is one the sweeter side, a bit buttery, orange/tangerine, and mild bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, fairly smooth and creamy on the mouth, with a dry, tingly finish
Overall Impression: This felt like a good start to a beer, but a beer with too many flaws. I'll stop my review there rather than spending paragraphs beating a Dead Horse.

Light amber color. Very malty, non descript. Cut hay. Lingering malty finish. Boring amber ale.

Draught at The Beerhive, Salt Lake City, UT. Clear pale golden, small head. Buttery nose. Dry with clean, crisp mouthfeel. Butter and grass, notes of orange. Salty finish. A bit anonymous.

Taste is smooth with a maltiness, brown sugar, and caramel blend that balance out some hoppiness. Taste is good, texture is a little light. Better than the average pale lager, but not as good as a true amber ale.

Bright amber. No head despite a fairly vigourous pour. Oxidized pale malt aroma. Light body. Mild, sweetish, vaguely caramelly flavour with mushroomy undertones. Appropriate moniker for such a lifeless brew.

Bottle Pours a hasy light amber with not much of a head and spotty lacing. Aroma is a bit off, like sawdust, and a nutty malt smell. Taste is like hazelnuts...or maybe just the shells. SOme dark malts but not very sweet. not much hops. Smooth and fairly flat. Lingering nutty aftertaste. A bit dissapointed.
