Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Location: Cask at Birreria, 4/8/13
Aroma: The nose is full of various spices, some crystal/caramel malts, and a some hop notes
Appearance: The pour is clear and orange in color with a lasting off-white head (large for cask)
Flavor: The taste is much the same as the nose, lots of spice, light-mid sweet, and light bitter
Palate: The body is medium, it has a soft/smooth cask feel, flat carbonation, and a mildly dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought that this was some pretty interesting stuff. Definitely a Birreria type experiment with a large mix of (fairly interesting) spices being the dominant component of the beer. I think the combo works pretty well.
