Source of Light was brewed with 100% premium German malts and hopped several times in the kettle with one of our favorite New Zealand hop varietals - the bright and zesty, citrus-forward Motueka.
We then hopped this crushable lager again with more aromatic Motueka hops in the fermenter before transferring it to horizontal lagering tank for a long, cold-conditioning slumber.
The result is a brilliantly golden, light-bodied brew with smooth bitterness, hop-dominated aromas and flavors, and a clean, dry, crisp finish that makes it hard to put down.
We get notes of key lime zest, fresh herb garden, white crackers, wildflower honey, and fragrant lemongrass.

Draft the the Source, 9/29/19. Clear good, with a thick, lasting white head. Grass, dough, and lemon zest. Really nice drinking beer. Crisp, clean, and refreshing. Lively, crisp, and a little dry on the close. Worked great outside in their beer garden on an overly warm fall (feels like summer) day. The best thing I tried on my visit, excellent pils. 7/4/8/4/16
