Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Opaque black color, huge fluffy off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, lightly milk chocolate, lightly (Dutch) "hopjesvla". Taste malts, again milk chocolate and hopjesvla (which I hate) and decently bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Meh.

Ratebeer Odense Summer Gathering 2015. Black with a lasting tan head. aroma of nuts, caramel, and coffee. Dry coffee and roasted, burned flavour. Strange nutty coffee flavour. Perhaps lacking a taste of beer?

Bottle @ Beer Temple, generously shared by Remco & Denise, thanks! Black color, oily. Aroma’s: strong vanilla at first, with Nutella, sweetness. Retronasal there more hazelnut, roasted malts, some red fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet & moderate bitter, hazelnuts. Light bodied, but not thin. Long, rather bitter finish. Nice! (8/3/7/3/16) Re-try from tap (March 2016): Black color. Dense brown head with good lacing. Aroma’s: sweet, vanilla, hazelnuts. Retronasal the hazelnuts are more pronounced, with roast and vanilla. Flavor is roasted, moderate sweet, moderate bitter. Light bodied, but not thin. Finishes roasted and bitter. Still nice! (7/4/8/3/16)

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours rich brown with a creamy, tan head. Good balance here. Moderate roasted malts, milk chocolate, hazelnuts. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation and creamy texture. Still well balanced to finish with notes of ash, charred earth and baking cocoa. Solid stout.
