1/VI/17 - 33cl bottle from Zythos Bierfestival 2017 (Leuven) @ home - BB: 3/I/19 (2017-699)
Little cloudy orange beer, creamy irregular pale yellowish head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: little fruity, some citrus, kiwi notes, bit yeasty. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sweet start, fruity notes, soft bitterness, some tropical fruits, but all very faint. Aftertaste: fruity, sourish notes, sweet an malty, some marzipan. If there was a lot of the mentioned hops used, then by now they seem to have fainted away mostly... :(

Thank you for sharing German speaking RB Crew! Sampled bottled @ ZBF 2017. Clear golden, little white. Nose is oily garlic hop oil, neat. Taste is mellow yeast, strangely oily, basic fizzy beer, okay but bit fizzy, lacking pop in the taste but pretty okay USA hoppy brew. Far better than usual for these guys, pleasant surprise.

Pours clear blonde, huge white head. Smell is bit sweet, well-hopped, malty, mild yeasty. Taste is fairly bitter, well-balanced hoparoma , with a very decent intensity ! bit crisp. OK MF , and very nice ( not to high ) carbo. better than expected !

One of the newest Enigma beers, tasted at Wieze Bierfestival. Snow white, moussy, lacing, stable head, clear golden robe with greenish hue. Aroma of orange peel, passion fruit, dried mango, green banana, pine resin, cereals, orchids, pink pepper. Clean, fruity onset, pineapple and melon with a dash of banana, smooth mouthfeel, very supple with cereally malt sweetish body. Aromatically hoppy finish, floral, citrusy and a tad piney, adding mild but effective bitterness. Modest in not pretending to be an IPA - though to me this would qualify, at least as a ’Belgian IPA’, and a good one at that.
