Tap at brewery. Opaque colour, medium-sized beige head. Vanilla, toasted, wood, toastyness in the nose. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Smooth palate. Syrup, toasted malts, toffee, vanilla flavour. Hides abv well. Good balance, excellent.

Sample at Beer Meets Wood on 09/23/2017. Brown-black color with a medium thin light beige head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Bourbon, malt and dark fruit in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, charred malt and dark fruit. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.

On tap at DRBT. Pours a dark brown with medium tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong wood, ash, smoke, bourbon. Medium body, rich, smoke, ash, tobacco, very boozy, enjoyed this.
