750mL capped bottle at a tasting. Aroma has lots of barrel heat, lots of spirit. Flavor has the chocolate trying to battle the spirit. At the end I want less alcohol. But I like the chocolate and it's not a sweetoorh beer.

Willrunforbeer shared this bottle, 2016 Barrel Society. Pitch black color, thin slow dying head. Aroma is cocoa, earthy malts, and weak bourbon.
Dutch coco.... Ok. Yeah, itβs rich chocolate, earthy grain and pretty bold bourbon. Pretty boozy. I feel like this would aged very nicely. 6 months to chill out would help a lot. A tad hot from booze.

Poured from bottle thanks Willrunforbeer dark black oily pour with nice lacing and minimal beige head. Aromas of dark chocolate dark fruit and notes of bourbon. Taste follows aroma with a somewhat boozy mouthfeel. Some more aging will make this awesome.
