Location: 22 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 5/30/12

Aroma: The nose has some roasted and burnt malts, some ashy notes, and a little coffee/chocolate
Appearance: This one pours a dark brown color with a creamy beige head and some light-medium lace
Flavor: Tastes similar to the nose, with roast/burnt malts leading the way, with a slightly ashy and anise finish
Palate: The body is on the lighter side for the style, it feels quite smooth, and it has a rather flat carbonation
Overall Impression: I found this to be an OK beer, but overall it was kind of unexciting. I wanted it to be better, but the flavors were just not that exciting. The smoothness of the mouthfeel was probably the best part of this one.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, Mo. Pours black with a 3 finger foamy dark tan head. Smells like burnt malt. Med body. Flavor is burnt malt with some chocolate and coffee. Fairly smooth. Drinks well. Going well with an artisanal choc chip cookie.

Pour is a black with a small tan head. Aroma is nice with lots of roasted malts showing up with a small touch of chocolate and coffee. Flavor is a little thin. Some roast and oats but not much body to this beer. Not the best by this missouri brewer. it started out well but its just to thin for a stout.
