There was potential here but the beer was really too subdued. +++Sampled on draft at D’s in Monroeville this beer poured a hazy orange-amber color with a large creamy orange-white head that lingered forever and left incredible lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet pineapple, grapefruit and orange. The flavor was bitter, tangy and sour with faint fruit cocktail, pear, a touch of pine and bread. The finish was medium length tangy grapefruit, pear and pine. Medium body. Ok but I was hoping for more.

on tap-pours an offwhite head with hazy gold color. Aroma herbal/some pine, secondary medium malt/grain. Taste follows.

Location: Draft at Hop Devil, 12/3/11, Rating # 1992, unfortunately, this one goes out to the last Redskins Super Bowl Victory, something that doesn't seem too likely to happen again anytime soon. I'll drink this one to Darrell Green, the Posse, the Hogs, the National Defense, and all the rest of the team that made that my favorite NFL Season.
Aroma: The nose is citrus, pine/resin and floral hops mostly
Appearance: The pour is a clear orange color with a white head and heavy lace
Flavor: The taste is mid plus sweet, citrus and mid-heavy bitterness, that is fairly resiny
Palate: The body is smooth and creamy with a fairly soft carbonation, and a slightly sticky feel
Overall Impression: This was on draft without a Batch # associated with it, but the tap looked exactly like the picture associated with this beer, so I'll assume this is the one I was drinking. Personally, I really enjoyed this one. It is a good IPA with a nice mouthfeel that works well throughout. Nicely done here by HeBrew.
