Draft @ Downtown BAr in Brooklyn. More like a German Weizen than a Belgian Witte. Large, lasting head, hazy yellow gold. Taste is orange & corianderish. Just a touch too sweet.

New Beer Distributors, NY 330ml ($2): Pour is lightly golden with small white head. Aroma wheat, candy, and citrus. Taste is rather insubstantial. It ain’t really watery, but it is pretty light and sweet. There are some nice wheaty notes, but they are few and far in between. "Tis a forgettable witbier.

Location: Draft at d.b.a, 5/21/10
Aroma: Fairly simple, typical orange, spice, and wheat beer
Appearance: Hazy orangish color beer with a decent white head
Flavor: Taste is medium sweet, some spice, and citrus flavors
Palate: The body is fizzy, fairly light, nothing too exciting
Overall Impression: I didn't really enjoy this one all that much. A fairly typical example of the style, but also on the boring side. I wouldn't rush out for this one again.

Tap at d.b.a Brooklyn. Color is completely clear straw with visible carbonation, but has a decent head. Aroma is very vegetal for a Wit and has a weird sweetness, its strange and not supposed to be in the beer. Taste is a bit better with some coriander but again that weird sweetness. Wow, another winner from Huyghe, I wish I knew before what the hell I was going to drink.
