Düsseldorf-Style Altbier
Brewed in the tradition of small brewpub brewing in Düsseldorf, Germany. Unfiltered, light copper in color, and assertively hopped (50 IBUs) with German Hallertau and Tettnang hops. Dry and refreshing on the finish. A balancing act of malt and hops, Hofgarten is a very traditional, lager-like beer.

2 finger creamy head, a dark orange appearance. Not a lot of aroma. Taste is a very faint light bitterness. the mouthfeel is solid. I get some BBQ from this or it does make me want to bite into a brisket. maple and herbal finish.
