This is the first in a rotating series. We brewed this American IPA with a touch of wheat for a hazy, grainy and soft mouthfeel, then we hopped it heavily with Citra and Amarillo. Over 1 lb. of Valencia orange zest and juice was added per barrel to this beer to help accentuate the citrus notes from the hopping.

Reviewed from notes.
On tap at Good Measure.
Appearance: glossy burnt yellow almost orange color with a quarter finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: all about the oranges in this one - sweet to bittersweet; soft clean malty underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet to slightly sweet quality; finishes mostly bittersweet with a touch of sweet oranges in there
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; good smoothness with nothing bothersome anywhere; good carb level
Overall: nice enough to come back to but probably not the best one of the series

Crowler from Big Fatty’s pours a light orange gold color. no head. Very aromatic with oranges dominating the aroma. Thin malt, decent mouthfeel fades to a chalky old fruit flavor at the finish. you do get a juiciness up front but not great.
