This Hoppy Amber Ale is our tribute to the quintessential season of change. A bright hop aroma from late hop additions plays with its strong malt backbone. Amber hued, medium bodied, with hints of citrus and pine, this ale is made for the crisp days (and nights) of fall.

Slightly hoppy, but nice flavor.

Some restaurant tap: pours amber with a whitish head. Aroma is toasted malts, piny hops. Taste is lightly sweet and somewhat bitter. Not really something that is good.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-caramel color with a medium sized foamy tan head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was caramel, honey, fruity hops, earthy hops and a metallic oxidized note. The flavor was bitter and dryish with a metallic oxidized note and rough floral and earthy hops. Medium length finish. Medium body. Not good.

Clear bronze pour with a khaki head and good retention. Good lacing. As the label says, hoppy nose and taste with a malty backbone and crisp mouthfeel. Lose the hops and it would be really good.

Sample at SBWF 2016. Amber with a white head. Rather soft with malt, caramel, light hops and some fruit.

Can dated enjoy by 12/15/16.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a crisp transparent amber color with smooth rising carbonation to fill a sustaining white foamy head. Delicate messy lacing.
The aroma has brisk sweet toffee rich to light caramel malts playing with a balancing sweet to bitter crisp citrus hoppy blend.
The flavor proceeds to blend and balance the previously mentioned aromas sweetly and subtly bitter. Crisp sweet malty aftertaste leading into a smooth finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable smooth feel laying across my tongue. Hops lay back with barely any bitterness, but thatβs okay, I get it,
Overall, damn, well, where did this come from. Iβm not usually a fan of this brewery, but for the style, they did a fantastic job on this. Also, paired extremely well with my jalapeno burger at Essex Grill.
