This Hoppy Amber Ale is our tribute to the quintessential season of change. A bright hop aroma from late hop additions plays with its strong malt backbone. Amber hued, medium bodied, with hints of citrus and pine, this ale is made for the crisp days (and nights) of fall.

12 oz. bottle. Clear copper color. Nose is caramel and toffee, some wet cardboard, very malty. Taste similar to nose, light sweetness with some sharp herbal bitterness.

Astringent aftertaste in a thinner body. Uninspiring in every regard.

Pours a dark reddish-amber from a bottle, off-white head leaves lots of lacing on the glass. Aroma of a peppery spiciness with a hint of caramel and toasted whole wheat bread. Flavor is a big hit of white pepper up front followed by lots of bitter hops with a somewhat piney/floral aftertaste. Good beer.

Bottle from the 12 pack from Harvest Market. Deep amber color with a small slowly receding bubbly off white head. The aroma is a mix of resin citrus and caramel and toffee. The flavor is more malt that hop unlike the aroma that had it the other way around. Pretty tasty amber ale though.
