0.473l can from Beer Republic. Aroma of toasted malt, nuts, cocoa and cereals. Pours cloudy dark brown color with medium sized soapy tan-like head, fair lacing and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet toasted malt and bready following with earthy, ashy and dried fruity notes, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average
carbonation in palate. Rice up…

Few cans at home. At first thought odd but grew in me over several cans and few days. Dark brown pour and fine two finger head. Nose is some cocoa and woody. Tastes of earth, chocolate, and the wild rice comes through (although not sure if spot if not told) the rice adds a woody character I find pleasant. Smooth and not sweet.

Pours a dark brown from a can, khaki colored head. Toasty aroma and flavor. Good beer.
Delicious bready flavour. Chocolate, toasty malt. Excellent. One of those beers that's avg rating is lower because people don't appreciate the style. Fantastic. Demba Ba in the snow.
