6.6/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 6 Texture 6 Overall 6.5
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a muddy brown color with a one finger off white to almond white colored head. After dissipation, light messy fairly thick lacing clung to the glass nicely.
The smell starts off with the citra hops over top of a light nutty breadiness.
The taste was basically the same with a hot bitter grassiness adding a nice little kick leading into the aftertaste and on into the finish.
On the palate, this this one sat about a medium in body. Since the bitter hops come across a bit more bitter than expected, sessionability is average.
Overall, for the most part it hits all of the expected points of an American Brown ale, probably could do again.
