Flavor is light sweet, light dry, roast malt, caramel, wood, heavy peat, whisky, alcohol. Thin to medium body, soft to average carbonation, peated finish. Very heavy peat. 230319

Keg at Warsaw Beer Festival, 08/04/17. Pitch black with a well presented tan head that retains well. Nose is smoked malts, mellow whisky barrel, light roast, dark chocolate. Taste comprises dark malts, chocolate, light peat, spice, mellow barrel, smoke. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising but balanced boost. Solid stout.

Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 12.06.18. Ebony. Uneven brown head. Fine aroma of peat, burn circuit boards, smoked mackerel and creosote. Taste of peat, chocolate, mocca beans, vanilla and tar.

0,33 flaske fra Ninkasira København, delt med skibsrederen, ombord på Fridtjofen juni-18: nesten kullsort med kort, storboblet skum. Heftig aroma av brente printkort (!), torvrøkt Islay whisky, moccabønner og litt vanilje. Heldigvis har de brente printkortene forduftet før dråpene når ganen, men de andre inntrykkene er intakt. Velegnet til å nytes fra cognacglass foran peisen en hustrig vinterkveld. Lavt (for lavt?) karbonert, og litt vannaktig helt i slutten.
