Sample at the tap room. Clear amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Aroma of citrus, rye and hops. Medium body with flavors of earthy hops, citrusy hops and rye malt. The finish is mildly spicy rye and hops. Pretty good overall.

On tap at Reubens seattle. pours out a amber topped with a small sand head. nose is rye some belg candy sugar and a little pine hop. Taste is more of the rye leading the way it works well with the belg candy sugar and a light spice.

Draft 12 oz pour at Reuben’s. Pours an oily copper color with a thin patchy head. Rye beers have definitely grown on me, especially when there is a ton of tangerine and fresh fruit citrus to go with it. Very drinkable imperial here, with an earthy hop, fruity finish. Fantastic beer.

On tap at Reuben's Brews, pours a hazy dark golden with a medium white head. Nose brings out spicy hops, Belgian yeast, rye and slight pine - very aromatic. Flavour brings out very dry rye notes, some Belgian yeast, and super dry pine. Impeccably well-balanced, with a dryer flavour profile than the regular Imperial Rye IPA. Excellent stuff.

Minor haze and Oaked darkness. Simcoe and chinook heavy. Threres a tangerine rind nose mixed with cedar chips and pine needles. Taste falls short of the nose but it’s still a great IPA. I think the rye takes away from this beer. Almost like adding spruce tips to an already well bittered beer. Pretty medicinal at the finish. Nice quality beer despite the downfalls
