Growlette share with Doug.
My portion was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt copper to amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a mild pace. Stringy lace.
The aroma had some malty/grainy sweetness. Light pomme-fruits, some caramel tones with just a hint of some light Belgian spices.
The flavor leans towards the malts. Hay/straw on my taste buds. Somewhat sweet with an odd grainy bite roaming into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Decent carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, odd sort of Belgian ale, maybe again, not sure.
