Bottled. Tasted sort of like a weak saison more so than a wheat. Poured gold etc. Ok.

Grabbed cheap six pack just to have around while doing household items. I knew it was going to be great but it fit what I was looking for. Drank other 5 earlier this week straight from cans here and there. Light clearish gold and a soapy head that dissipates quickly. Nose is faint citrus and wheat. Tastes of some wheat, some lemon, grains and fruit punch on finis. Thin bodied.

Bottle courtesy of AirForceHops. Lemon and wheat malt aroma. Slightly hazed straw gold with a small white head. Sweet wheat malt and light lemon flavor. LIght body, soft carbonation. I drank this after coming in from cleaning the chicken coop. Works as a lawnmower beer.

My wife brought this one back from a trip to Rochester. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow color with a medium sized yellow-white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was tangy lemonade with a sweet sugary undertone. The flavor was sugar, lemonade, a bit of bread and not much else. Medium finish. Light body. Eh.

Pours pale yellow into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Light wheat and lemon aromas. Crisp wheat upfront with lemon, marshmallow and yeast in the dry finish. Very drinkable.

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Available through Mid-September? Well, I had it tonight at RnH. Hmm...Maybe if it were 5 to 6 months earlier I would have enjoyed this beer more. As it was, I enjoyed it a little it. Not an offensive beer by any means, just nothing to write home about. Not crisp and refreshing like I want a wheat ale. More like a pale ale. Perhaps it lost its bite before I could get to it...will this mystery ever be resolved?...

Slightly cloudy golden coloured body with a light orange tint and a thin white head that fades fast. Aroma of malt, caramel, curacao, honey, yeast and lemons - not bad at all! Medium-bodied; Strong soapy taste up front with too much malt and an unfinished quality that really won’t go away at all. Strong bitterness from that soapy and tangy taste with nothing else pleasant following soon afterwards. Aftertaste shows way too much of the unpleasant quirks of the beer and not enough ’good stuff’. Overall, pass this one up, unless you want to be criticizing the beer like I’m doing right now :-) I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 06-November-2006.
