This Scottish 90 shilling ale has a wonderfully deep ruby red color and very light body. A nice compliment to any food, it can be consumed during any season with ease. A true session ale!

Location: On tap at the Brewpub, 1/22/10
Aroma: Aroma of caramel, some toasted malts, and toffee
Appearance: Pours a dark amber color with a thin head
Flavor: Taste is pretty balanced, medium sweet, medium bitter
Palate: Light bodied with a nice smoothness
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a solid beer, not bad, not great, but definitely solid. I enjoyed it. I can see why they describe it as a good session beer on the menu, for that is probably a very good description.
