Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a clear golden body and a fading white head. Aroma of corn, lactose, light esters, and caramel. Taste is corn, soggy malts, water and cardboard. Fizzy.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan color. Fluffy off-white head. Sweet aroma, with a slight corny adjunct thing going on. Pretty insipid beer, though does capture most of the essence of a Cream Ale. Slightly doughy, with some underlying vanilla. OK in some respects, but awfully close to macro swill in it’s bland, non quality malt feel. Light to medium body, hyper sessionable. Underwhelming.

Pours light copper into a shaker. Creamy white micro head with medium retention leaves scant sheets as it recedes to skim surface. Sour cream aromas. Astringent sour vegetables from front to back. Dry nasty finish.

Aroma: A fairly faint nose of toast, wheat, light earth hops, light caramel, and a touch of fruit
Appearance: Pours a clearish orange-amber color with a thin white head and some light lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly light too, its balanced with a sweet and toasted malt flavor and a mild hop backing
Palate: The mouthfeel is medium-light with a high amount of carbonation and not particularly creamy
Overall Impression: My first beer of this Friday the 13th is an alright, but ultimately forgettable, somewhat un-Cream Ale-like Cream Ale. Overall its fairly simple, drinkable, light and smooth, but lacking a bit in power, strength, and character.

Bottle. Frothy white head, mostly diminishing above a medium amber body. The aroma has notes of grain, grass, dough, apple. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. The finish is only slightly more bitter than the initial taste. Medium body, sticky texture. I am reminded of sticky, sweet apple juice poured through dusty grain.

Bottle. (Cool label so I’m adding one point to appearance.) Pour is an amber that borders on copper with a little bit of an off white head that dies down in short order. Aromas are understated and boring with a touch of grainy sweetness and caramel. Flavor is pretty darn nice. Almost like a creamy amber ale without too much crisp hopping. Sweet and creamy caramel malts with a bit of a honey background and just a touch of yeast and hops that balance things out a little and keep it from being cloying. Wonderfully simple.

Tongue on blue label. Bread loaf yeast fragrance. Brobdingnagian foamy head that eventually fades to rocky chunks. Behold to the eye, a hyaline orange yellow appearance. Some bubbly tang for a mouthsense. Uncultivated malt or hop taste experience. Overall a little too much ale disposition than I care for. Not as good as Anderson Valley Summer Solstice Cerveza Crema or West Virginia Cheat Mountain Gold. Probably on par with Oskar Blues Money Shot Cream Ale and Gennessee Cream ale.

Honey and grain aroma. Moderately dark amber color, medium tan head, good lacing. Pretty dull flavor, only slightly more flavorful than seltzer. Fantastic cilantro and lime finish. It seems like an awful waste of good ingredients. Something is amiss in the process.

Bottle from Safeway, Port Angeles, WA; nose of sweet cloves, grain, and caramel; clear darl gold with a small offwhite head; flavor is caramelly, sweet, with vanilla and spices with some sweetness for a finish.
