Traditionally brewed as a summer beer. This is a German-style wheat beer, featuring a unique banana/clove flavor and aroma that is a distinct characteristic of this beer style. The yeast left in the beer gives it the classic unfiltered look. Enjoy it with or without a lemon

On tap at the Gaylord, MI location. Basic, but tasty, hefeweizen, pouring a cloudy yellow-orange topped by a thick off-white head. Characteristic clove-banana ester notes paired with light bready, tangy wheat. They’re a dime a dozen, but hefeweizens are great for humid summer nights.

Draught at the brewpub, Heatwave Hefe-Weizen
Cloudy blonde-orange color. It’s served with a slice of lemon, therefore the aroma has a mix of lemon and banana. Medium body, with a residual sweetness, a light banana taste, some spiceness and a final strong bitterness (for a Hefe-Weizen).

Sampled draught at Big Buck, Grapevine, Texas.
Dirty mustard yellow. Estery banana aroma. Sweet and soft, maybe a tad mellow in character. Nice and refreshing. (Listed as Howards Hefe at 5.2%, 17 IBU)
