(Can 50 cl) Expecting a typical Swedish lager, this one confused me as it didn’t really behave like one. Straw golden colour. Scent like a Belgian "Triple" and taste like a "Triple" - only lighter. Pleasant surprise. Thanks to omhper for the information. The can doesn’t really tell much. If this is still on the market look it up - a rare Swedish ale. 280703

Canned. This is a real mess. First - this beer comes with a name that is bound to be used by 60 or so breweries. Secondly - the name of the brewer is withheld by purpose, as after Carlsberg took over Sweden's two largest breweries it was ruled by the EU that they had a big share of the Swedish beer market and thus in a monopoly situation. What they did was they continued to brew all their brands but some were sold by a different company, namely the fake brewery Three Towns Independent Brewers. This is one of those... Anyway. The beer itself is far from a poor effort. It pours pale golden with very little head, and has a fairly nice flowery aroma. It is clean and medium bodied with quite a bitter finish.
