(Draught at the brewpub on 2008-08-30) Pale golden. Little bit hazy. Long lasting dense white head. Light nose with bit hoppy aroma. Light bodied palate with lot of carbonation. Bitterness, hint of sweetness and little bit of grapefruit in taste. Not so harsh aftertaste.

Draught. Hazy yellow colour, foamy lacing white head. Malty and a bit citric aroma. Malty and wheaty flavour with bitterish hoppy finish. Refreshing, rich carbonation. Hoppy aftertaste. 6464 13
Re-rated Dec 3rd, 2005:
Hazy, yellowish orange colour. Aroma is kouluish, cooked vegetables, malty and hoppy with citric hints. Flavour is cooked vegetables and malts. Quite boring.. but during hot summerdays very refreshing. 5352 10 now,

Draught @Panimoravintola Koulu
Same beer than Ope but unfiltered. Hazy yellow color with small steady and creamy head, lace. Mild, a bit fruity and malty aroma. Good malty body, a bit sweet and maybe slightly unclean. Does not differ much from Ope.

The unfiltered counterpart to Ope. Marginally hazy golden. Appley aroma with a hint of bread. Strangely spicy - tastes like I was just eating a pizza before sampling (I wasn’t). Anyway, it’s oddly fruity. I swear they’re making lagers with top-fermenting yeast.

Sampled draught at the brewpub.
Golden colour, slightly hazy. Fruity with slightly more substance than Ope. Grassy bitterish finish. The bartender admitted that this beer is really an unfiltered version of Ope.
