Bottle. Coppery brown colour with a small white head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, alcohol some ripe fruits and mild plum. Flavour is pretty much following that pattern, but also ha some vanilla and mild nectary tones to it.

33cl bottle, as Oh (new name). Pours brown with cream-colored foam, very fine. Aroma is malty, alcoholic, hazelnut. Body is dense moderate carbonation. Taste is still rather alcoholic, sweet, but also with moderate bitterness. Finish is average.

Bottiglia @ Golosaria 2015, Milano.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at HBF2010) Poured dark brown and cloudy with small and white head. Aroma contained malts, alcohol and chestnut. Palate was full bodied and dry with quite a lot of carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, caramell, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. Not an ordinary barley wine.

Hazy-murky brown color, not much head. Caramelly, toffeish aroma, some alcohol. Medium to full bodied. Quite alcoholic, some grassy hops, toffee, vanilla. Actually pretty nice dessert beer.

An unclear red beer with a beutiful beige head. The aroma is of yeast and berries - especially cowberries. The flavor is of sweet berries - especially gooseberries. A fine beer - but it doesn't reveal that it is 8% ABV. Thanks to Alex (fiulijn) for bringing this to Denmark.

Bottled. Reddish orange, cloudy - but not overly yeasty as I was warned. Complex aroma of butter. yeast flowers and butterscotch. Sweet and richly malty with soft, fatty mouthfeel. aromatic finish with low bitterness. An unusual and interesting beer.

Red ale. Malt aroma, alcohol; some caramel, prunes. Medium sweet in the front, then balanced by the bitterness; medium/poor body; alcohol, caramel in the flavour too. Nice palate, enough bitter and aromatic.
