With yeast and hops in our trunks we teamed up outside Barcelona in Catalunya to brew this beer containing; an array or specialty malts, rye, moscovado sugar, hops and a hand full of Spanish cranberries (literally a hand full so don’t expect a fruit beer). Layered yet fresh, we sincerely hope that this beer will embody the passion, enthusiasm and hard work that went into making it.

Salud!

Bottle at Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival 2012. Almost clear, red/brown liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel, grass, tropical fruit, biscuit and red berries. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of caramel, biscuit and grass. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Not too impressing.

Sample @ Stockholm Beer & Whisky 2012. Pours hazy pale amber with a small offwhite head that slowly dissiptes while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with dark bread, orange peal, resinous wood, moist grass, red apples and lemon balm. Taste is sweet and bitter with bread, moist grass, moist soil, orange peal, pine and hints of compost. Mouthfeel is tiny round, tiny watery and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with bread, resinous wood, orange peal, pine and grass. Not my cup of tea.

Sample @ SBWF. This is not a "bad" beer, as in badly brewed, not just my cup of tea. It’s way to bitter to be drinkable.

Bottle sample at SBFW. Pours red with a big creamy yellowish head. Aroma of an hoppy american strong ale like double bastard. A too bitter brew with some coffee and grape seeds.

Sample at SBWF 2012. A bit hazy light amber with a small white head. The aroma was malty with toffee and chocolate. Also some light notes of fruit, the same in the taste. Also nuts and some earth. The most "boring" one so far from Omnipollo
