Tap. Madama Beerstro, Bologna. Murky pale amber. Big foam of white. Nose has juicy fruit gum. Overripe stone fruit. Some citrus. Taste is super sweet, with a light, stone fruit bitterness. Medium body. Low carbonation. Light bitter finish. To be honest, I think this is past it’s best.

On tap @Sam Beer (Rome). Dorata limpida, schiuma bianca media, discretamente persistente. Al naso note agrumate e di frutti tropicali, resina, malto. In bocca ha un attacco maltato importante con finale amaro medio, lungo e persistente. Corpo medio-alto, carbonazione media. Equilibrata, buona.

Bottle, thanks daniele, BB 09.18. Hazy and bright yellow pour, white medium foam with medium retention. Nose: strawberries, pinch of malt and more strawberries. Mouth: sweet pineapple, again a firm feel of red fruits juice. This is not a regular Imperial IPA, it goes a bit more on a new direction I think. Love it or leave it. Tasty imo...but strange.

Dec. ’16. On tap at Ma Che, Rome. It poured a hazy golden body with medium sized head. Hoppy and chalky aroma, with a note of that fresh unpasteurized citrus hops usually encountered in brewpub beers. Flavor was lightly bitter, herbal, citrus and pine hops, but very soon showed its sweetish personality with elegant honey and biscuit malt balancing it out perfectly. Medium bodied. Finished in the biscuit/honey manner which once again at the very end couldn’t hold as long as slightly overpowering herbal dry tone. Very nice and effective, a perfectly balanced brew.
