On tap at Phillips. Pours a clear deep amber with a beige head. Gentle bready malts on the nose. Flavour has a pleasant bready malt character, gentle spicing, some crusts. Solid scottish ale.

Soft malt aroma, has modest beige foam on a dark amber body. Flavour is reasonably bright malt with soft caramel hints. Full mouthfeel. Nice, chewy, drinkable.

On tap. Pours a clear dark amber with a small, creamy, off-white head that laces. Faint aroma of caramel malt and a hint of nuts. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, nuts and a hint of chocolate with a dry, bitter hoppy finish. Light body with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. Meh.

A little rough. Smells like nothing, pours amber without head or lacing and tastes like tin with some malt that ends in a sour way. Nothing to see here folks - keep on walking. On tap at The Beagle.

Dark amber color; creamy head. Light, peppery caramel aroma. Quite obvious caramel flavor, a bit sweet a bit dry. Correct bitterness. Anonymous.

draft somewhere in Victoria - Pours amber and has a light, malty aroma. The flavor is mostly lightly roasted malts with only a little hops around and that not of very good quality. It’s easy enough to drink and finishes clean. Light and drinkable, but there are better choices.

Canned. Clear dark amber. Papery malt aroma. Lightly spicy with some soapy fruits. Medium bitterness. Not an attention grabber.
