Our flagship ale, this hearty Scottish style amber ale has been proudly brewed since our inception in 1998. Dark and flavourful with notes of caramel and chocolate, all with a crisp finish it has been known for for all these years.

Nice dark amber in colour with a thick creamy off-white head. Fruity malts with spiced notes, like cinnamon, but faint. In mouth, nice sweet caramelly malt with buttery mouthfeel, diacetyls? Some nuttyness comes later in finish. Light and quaffable. Thanks Jean Marc.

Dark amber, malty, cookie-like. Toasty, slightly roasty with hints of chocolate. Body is reasonably full for style.
