Poured from the tap. Slightly hazy gold with white head. Old style IPA, caramel malt, light citrus and grass hops, touch of cardboard, and overall just really timid and bland.

Semi hazy weak gold body and modest foam. Soft orangey hops on the nose with a bit of pine. Taste is mellow orangey hops, a bit of candy, ending a little wet. There is very little to like here.

Bottled. An uncearl amber beer with a thick orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of fruit.

On tap, pours a golden colour. Aroma and taste were hoppy, but quite bland, without any distinctive character. Still a decent IPA, but nothing exceptional.

Bouteille 650ml, courtoisie de Blankboy. De couleur ambrée et très légèrement voilée. Nez de houblon herbeux (herbes fraîches, notes mouillées) et aux notes terreuses (traces résineuses), malté de caramel avec des notes de toffee, légèrement fruité (agrumes). Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture légèrement crémeuse et aux petites notes résineuses. Goût de levures fruitées (agrumes, traces d’abricots) accompagné d’un moyenne amertume de houblon herbeux (herbes fraîches et herbes mouillées) et aux notes terreuses et résineuses (présent en arrière-goût durant toute la gorgée) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de caramel légèrement sucré avec des notes de grains, de pain, de toffee sucré et de biscuits puis en finale l’on obeserve un léger regain d’amertume asséchante de houblon plus herbeux (faibles notes de thé) avec quelques notes florales. Post-goût moyen et un peu sec, moyennement amer de houblon herbeux aux notes terreuses, florales et résineuses avec un léger goût fruité (zest d’agrumes).

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a hazy amber golden with a dense, off-white head. Somewhat astringent and leathery nose. Medium body, overripe fruit and some burned caramel. Rather bitter finish. 291208

Unclear amber with a medium white head. aroma had yeasty notea along with ripe fruits and caramel. Flavour was somewhat malty with caramel and hoppy notes that gave it a bitter finish.

22 fl bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a fully gone head. Dry pinewood hops aroma. Mild spiced too. Mild sweetend and dry bitter. Light fruity touch to a wooden dry hops base. Lasting and underlying caramel malty finish. Nice fruity hops finish, bone dry though.

Hazy amber color, medium sized creamy head. Light caramel aroma, stronger caramel flavor, correct bitterness; there is a grassy aroma too, later some very light nice hop appears. Unexciting.

Draught at The Railway Club, Vancouver. Clear golden, average head. Restrained citric hop aroma. Medium dry with clean, very straightforward maltiness. The hops adds citric flavour, but not that much bitterness.
