At a tasting, thanks, stable long lasting creamy head, opaque black color, aroma of charred wood, caramel, hint of soy and some coffee in the back, ashy, charcoal flavor, medium noticable sweetness, lingering aftertaste, mellow bitterness. Very good and relativly easy imperial stout.

Bottle shared at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks mom for this bottle! Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, coffee, some ash, a bit of dark fruits. Great bittersweet flavor, roasty, ashy, with coffee, a bit of chocolate, and a bitter, burnt, ashy finish. Full-bodied. Really good, hearty.

Bottle at home, 4th August 16. Pours black, neat tan head. Aroma is smoked cheese, smoke, liquorice. Taste is smoke, meaty notes, chocolate, roasted malts, burnt sugar. Mouth feel and carbonation is spot on. Enjoyed it.

330 ml bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki, courtesy of skullgeorge. Black color with light brown head. Roasted malty aroma, light hoppy too, bread, caramel, wood, licorice, chocolate. Sweet and bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
