Keg at PP SB, 14/11/14. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is roast malt, dark toffee, hint of coffee, cocoa rub. Taste comprises subtle roast, toffee, brown sugar, nutty tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close, light hoppy backpangs. Ok porter.

Draught at the brewpub. Very dark brown, creamy head. Coffee aroma. Dry and very roasty with soft mouthfeel. Well hopped with notes of dark chocolate and bitter salty finish. Really good and well balanced.
