Draft. A brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and malt, leading to a dry finish.

(On tap) Clear, dark, orangey brown with a creamy, beige head. Hard roasted but sweet malt aroma. Medium body with sweetish, hard roasted malts with some licorice notes. Dry finish with a light malt astringency. A fine little Porter. 040208

Draught at the brewpub. Chestnut brown, small but lasting head. Dry and chocolatey with notes of wood. Light bodied with short mouthfeel and low bitterness. Roasty malt flavour dominates. Again an easy going beer from Roosters, this time however the chocolatey roastiness sparks a bit of interest.
