Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5
Draught at the brewpub. Hazily nut brown, small creamy head. Obvious toffee aroma. Sweet, caramelly and generously malty. Full bodied with plenty of roasty malt and somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Notes of peppery alcohol. A warming beer, which may not be the best option for a hot summer night in Sydney.
