A blond beer. Exclusively brewed with pale malt, which gives it a delicate cereal flavor. This is complemented by a slightly bitter finish and a hoppy aroma.

Bottled (As Del Puerto Pale Ale, from Alko web shop). Golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is bready malts, some fruits, mild caramel and earth. Flavour is caramel, earth, some mild fruits and some quite dry herbal tones. Quite different.

33cl bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Pours clear golden with a white head. Malty and somewhat fruity with mild caramel notes. Rather sweet and not so refreshing. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pale Ale on 05 Jul 2020 at 19:16 - Score: 4

Bottle labelled as simply pale ale. Nice white foam and medium gold body. Smells of sweet grain with hints of honey. Flavour is more cardboard grain, white rice. Sharp finish, medium on the mouth. Rather boring, vaguely drinkable.

this one´s a bit foul. Looks like piss and tastes like acrid piss. Slightly bitter, colour is bad. Smells like polluted water. Don’t know where they get teh balls to refer to this as a pale ale.

Pale golden color, no head, lemon, grass and cornbread in nose. Sour mainstream beer with grainy notes, but not without some appeal. Sweet malty finish. I could drink many of these in a Chilean desert.

Bottled (Del Puero Rubia) at Sicosis, Santiago. Clear golden, minimal head. Dominated by papery malt. Medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel and light-medium body. Low bitterness. More like a dortmunder than anything else.
