On tap at the Brewpub. Hazy golden/orange with a white head. Clove, black pepper, banana and some yeast.

On tap at Koulu, pours a hazy dark golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light banana, with clove, and light wheat. Flavour is along the same lines, with light banana upfront, followed by a touch of clove and soft pillowy wheat. Decent estery character. Nicely done.

At Panimoravintola Koulu, Turku. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, banana, wheat and malts.

A dark yellow beer with a big and blond head. Aroma is slightly sour, batter and spicyness, not very pure and fresh aroma. Taste is wheat and fresh, lots of spicyness, balanced sourness, some yeast. Medium bodied, nice carbonation. Quite balanced, yeasty and batter hefe, tastefull.

Draught @ the brewpub. Rated on 13.05.2011.
Aroma is floury with some wheat, bubblegum and citrus notes. Flavour is somewhat floury with wheat, yeast, bubblegum and hints of banana esthers. The good thing here is the lack of oversweet banana – the bad thing is the stale floury notes.

Looks like basic weizen. Aroma of banana and tropical fruits. Decent weizen which should be much more abundant. 2012 edition: darker than original. Slightly bitter and rather sour. Aroma of cranberry.

[Draught at the brewpub] Cloudy orange colour, small creamy head. Aroma of ripe banana with evident fruity esters as well as menthe. Sweet with low carbonation and some light grainy/mustardy malt flavour. The desired estery yeast character is definitely there, but it’s too sweet to be refreshing.

Draught. Hazy orange colour, foamish big white head. Wheat, fruit and malt in flavour. Wheat and sweet malt in flavour, with a sour citric finish. Not much aftertaste. Has also some caramellish notes to it. Very pleasant.
