It's originating from the west of the region of Flanders, in Belgium. Its red colour is due to the type of malt utilised in it making. These beers are relatively light in body and acidic, which makes them very refreshing.

Bottled, thanks Fukito! Hazy reddish amber, near no head. Aroma of hay and stable. Dryish with lovely chewy malt. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Nice hay-like finish with low-medium bitterness. More of a Bitter than a Flemish Sour, but dear god what a superb malt character.
