Once a year, homebrewers are encouraged to send us their best brews. This time was the fourth time we invite a homebrewer to join us and Siren for a collaborative brew. Dave Strachan submitted a beautiful coconut Porter and so we decided to play along on that theme. Brewed with maple syrup and aromas.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Omnipollo / Siren / David Strachan Lorelei Maple Coconut Toast Imperial Porter ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is heavy malty, cookie, dark malt, roasted, coconut, chocolate, maple syrup. Flavor is heavy sweet with a long duration, coconut, dark malt, chocolate, maple syryp, cake, hazelnut. This cake in a bottle ! Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel light to moderate alcohol. [20180414] 8-4-9-5-17

Flaska från SB. Tack Daniel! Stor söt rostad smak. Vanilj, rostad kokos, fudge, honungsrostad granola, punchpraliner, laktos, havrekakor. Snygg och massor av stora smaker. Kanske väl insmickrande, vem gillar inte det här? Men det är svårt att inte falla för det här. Mycket gott.

Bottle @Ulfborg Tasting. Black, small tan head. hazelnuts, cinnamon, cocoa and vanilla aroma. Boozy, whisky flavour with cocoa and hazelnuts. Constructed and objectively unbalanced but I like it.

Bottle shared by Richard. Deep inky black with ruby highlights, coconut maple mounds. Full bodied and velvety with super caramel maple mounds flavor. Super sweet and just screaming for a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yep, poured over ice cream it was just amazing!

Shared at a drinking session with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran in the summer of 2017. Thanks! Black with a minimal head. Lots of coffee here, some coconut and toasty aromas, vanilla. Perfumed. Sweet and cake-like. Strong, medium to full body, strong. Too sweet and perfumed. Seems very fake.

Bottle thanks to Henok. Pours black with small tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is intense maple syrup, coconut, milk chocolate, roast, vanilla. Thick, intense sweetness, milk chocolate, vanilla, maple, roast, boozy finish, enjoyed this.

Bottle. Pours opaque black with a tiny dark brown head and minimal lacing. Aroma is mega mocha, coconut, chocolate, rich. Flavor is fully sweet, medium bitter, rich and full of mounds bar. Full body, creamy mouthfeel, low carbonation.
